Dr PengYi Tang receives the Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers

Aimed at scholars who completed their doctorate in the previous four years, these fellowships offer a long-term research in Germany.

Dr PengYi Tang, from the ICN2 Advanced Electron Nanoscopy Group, has been successful in his application for a Humboldt Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers. In recent years, approximately 25% to 30% of applications to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation were accepted. Intended for researchers at the beginning of their academic career, Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers allow the grantees to carry out long-term research (6-24 months) in Germany. Applicants choose their own topic of research and their academic host.
